Wonderstruck

parabh paykhee-ai bismaad.
Gazing upon God, I am wonderstruck.
chakh anad pooran saad.
I taste the Perfect Flavor of Bliss.
nah dolee-ai it oot.
I do not waver or wander here or there.
parabh basay har har cheet. ||4||
The Lord God, Har, Har, dwells within my consciousness. ||4||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

When I see the One, I am filled with wonder.

I taste a delight so complete that I stop wobbling this way and that -- the One settles right into my awareness and stays.

*Wonder can make a wobbly heart steady.*
The deeper layer

prabh paykhee-ai bismaad -- seeing God, wonderstruck. nah dolee-ai it oot -- no more wavering here or there. prabh basay har har cheet -- the One dwelling steadily in consciousness. Wonder brings steadiness, not confusion.

A Question to Sit With
