Thursday — Even the Lost Are Held

veervaar veer bharam bhulaa-ay.
Thursday: The fifty-two warriors were deluded by doubt.
parayt bhoot sabh doojai laa-ay.
All the goblins and demons are attached to duality.
aap upaa-ay kar vaykhai vaykaa.
God Himself created them, and sees each one distinct.
sabhnaa kartay tayree taykaa.
O Creator Lord, You are the Support of all.
jee-a jant tayree sarnaa-ee.
The beings and creatures are under Your protection.
so milai jis laihi milaa-ee. ||6||
He alone meets You, whom You Yourself meet. ||6||

In plain words

Thursday. Even those who wander far -- the restless, the lost, the ones pulled every which way by division -- were made by the same One, who sees each of them clearly and does not give up on any of them.

Every creature, without exception, is held in its care. You are under that protection right now. And when the moment comes to meet the One, it is the One that draws you close.

No one is outside the One's care -- not even the most lost.
The deeper layer

veervaar, Thursday. The source's mythic figures -- the fifty-two warriors, the goblins and spirits "attached to duality" -- are softened to "the lost and restless"; the teaching kept is that the One made even them and sees each one. sabhnaa... tayree taykaa / jee-a jant tayree sarnaa-ee -- every being under the One's support: a strong note of universal, no-exceptions care.

A Question to Sit With

Who is someone that others gave up on, that you could show a little more care?
