In plain words

The One is calling me close, like a friend who loves the ones who love back. Walk with the Guru's teaching, and the heart lights up and the whole self feels well.

When I quiet my restless mind and let the Word settle me, I begin to recognize the One everywhere. Then my mind stops wobbling and wandering — it knows who it belongs to.

You are my support. You are my own. You are my strength and my resting place. Nanak says: living from what is true, held by the Guru's Word, the tangles inside me come undone.

When I know who I belong to, my mind stops wobbling.
The deeper layer

Mahal bulaa-iRee — called to the Mansion, the Presence; the One as bhagat sanayhee, lover of those who love. Man maar (conquer the mind) means quieting the restless mind. AaDhaar, taan, takee-aa: support, strength, anchor. And jhagar nibayra-o — the inner tangles resolved through the Shabad — closes the shabad on being held.

A Question to Sit With

Who or what makes you feel steady when everything else is wobbling?
