In plain words

True and glad is the praise of the One, sung by the heart turned toward the Guru.

Praising the Name day and night, keeping the One in mind, the mind fills with joy.

By great good fortune I have found the One -- perfect, complete, brimming with bliss.

Nanak says: I praise the Naam, and my mind and body will never be shattered again.

There is a joy that, once found, cannot be shattered by anything.
The deeper layer

A Guru Amar Das shalok, the Vaar's next-to-last verse, and a burst of pure Bilaaval brightness. Sachaa sohilaa -- the "true song of joy" -- returns the raag to its keynote of joy. Pooran parmaanand -- perfect, complete bliss -- is the fullness found. And the closing promise is one a child can hold onto: bahurh na man tan bhang -- mind and body will never again be shattered. A settled, unbreakable joy: not the absence of hard things, but a root that cannot be knocked over.

A Question to Sit With

What is a kind of happiness that stays with you even on a hard day?
