Those Who Live in the One

Those who are pleasing to the Lord are the servants of the Lord; their story is unique and singular.
aavahi na jaahi na kabhoo martay paarbarahm sangaaree ray. ||3||
They do not come and go, and they never die; they remain with the Supreme Lord God. ||3||

In plain words

But there are people whose story is different. They have let the One become the center of their lives, and something in them is never lost.

They are not shaken by coming and going the way the rest of the world is. They stay close to the Oneness that was always here.

What roots in the One is never lost.
The deeper layer

tin kee kathaa niraaree — their story is set apart. aavahi na jaahi... paarbrahm sangaaree — beyond the churn of coming-and-going because they are rooted in the Supreme. What endures is the living connection to the One — the hopeful answer to the passing of time.

A Question to Sit With

Who in your life seems steady and unshaken, and what do you think keeps them that way?
