aap aap tay jaani-aa tayj tayj samaanaa.
I have come to know my own self, and my light has merged in the Light.

kaho kabeer ab jaani-aa gobid man maanaa. ||3||11||
Says Kabir, now I know the Lord of the Universe, and my mind is satisfied. ||3||11||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

I came to know my own true self, from the inside — and my little light quietly joined the great Light, the way a candle's glow disappears into the sunrise.

Kabir says, now I know the One, and my restless mind is at rest. There is nothing left to chase.

Know your true self and your small light joins the great Light.
The deeper layer

aap aap tay jaani-aa — knowing the self through the self. tayj tayj samaanaa — light merging in Light, the drop-in-ocean of illumination. gobid man maanaa — the mind maanai, coming into deep alignment and rest.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like when your mind is finally at rest about something?
