Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

You know everything, and I am nothing, O Lord who breaks fear.

All beings come to Your shelter, O God, who brings every task to its fullness.

Coming empty-handed to the One is enough — it takes away fear.
The deeper layer

Too jaanat mai kichh nahee — You know, and I am nothing: coming with empty hands and no claims to make. bhav khandan raam — the One who breaks fear. sagal jee-a sarnaagatee... pooran kaam — all beings take refuge; the One fulfils and resolves. The universality: all beings seek the same shelter.

A Question to Sit With

What helps you feel less afraid when something is uncertain?
