In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

Sometimes your whole heart just wants to feel close to the One. And you wonder: what will finally get me there?

So in every small moment, over and over, you keep turning your attention back, the way you would keep glancing toward someone you love.

Wanting to be close to the One is already the beginning of being close.
The deeper layer

A heartfelt question: what will bring me to meet my One?

Kavan sanjog mila-o prabh apnay — what happy meeting will bring me to my One? Sanjog means a lucky coming-together, like bumping into your best friend at just the right moment.

The answer is already hiding inside the question. Pal pal nimakh — moment by moment, every blink of an eye, the attention keeps coming back to the One. Think of how you keep checking the door when you are waiting for someone you love to arrive. The longing itself is already the path.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you want so much that you keep thinking about it all through the day?
