The Master of the Masterless

man tay kaday na veesrai anaath ko naath.
In my mind, I never forget the Lord; He is the Master of the masterless.
naanak parabh sarnaagatee jaa kai sabh kichh haath. ||4||29||59||
Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of God; everything is in His hands. ||4||29||59||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

May the One never slip from my mind — the One who is a home for those who have no home.

Nanak says: I have come into the One's shelter, where everything is held.

There is a home even for those who feel they have none.
The deeper layer

Man tay kaday na veesrai, anaath ko naath — the master of the masterless, dignity for those the world overlooks; naanak prabh sarnaagatee, jaa kai sabh kichh haath — the shelter where all is held. A home is offered to the homeless.

A Question to Sit With

Who do you know that needs to feel they belong somewhere?
