Nanak has entered the Sanctuary of God; the True Lord has given strength to the mind. ||2||5||69||

In plain words

The One is powerful enough to be the reason behind every reason — there is nothing outside of it.

Nanak says: I have come into God's shelter, and the True One has given my mind a steady strength.

There is one strength behind everything, and it can be yours.
The deeper layer

The One is behind everything, and that shelter makes the mind strong.

Karan kaaran samrath hai — the all-powerful One is the cause of every cause. Tis bin nahee hor — there is no other besides the One.

Think of a row of falling dominoes. Each one tips the next. But someone set the whole row in motion. The One is like that first push, behind every reason there is.

Naanak parabh sarnaagatee saachaa man jor — Nanak has come to God's shelter, and the True One has given the mind strength. Sarnaagatee means coming into shelter. Resting there, the mind finds a strength that is real and steady.

A Question to Sit With

Where do you find your steadiest strength?
