Nanak has come to the Sanctuary of the One who knows each and every heart. ||2||12||76||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

People who once went unnoticed came to shine in the world.

Nanak says: I take shelter with the One who knows what is inside every single heart.

You are already known by the One who reads every heart.
The deeper layer

The unnoticed come to shine, and the One knows every heart.

First, pargat bha-ay sansaar meh, firtay pehnaam: people nobody used to notice come to shine in the world. Think of a quiet kid in class whose kindness everyone ends up remembering.

Second, naanak tis sarnaagatee: Nanak takes shelter with the One. Ghat ghat sabh jaan means the One knows every heart, every single one. The One sees what is inside each of us, including you.

A Question to Sit With

What is something true about you that others do not see?
