In plain words

They are truly fortunate and honorable — the perfect merchants.

They are lovely, so wise and fine; Nanak, buy the Name of the One.

People who invest their lives in what truly lasts carry a real beauty that borrowed finery can't fake — and you're warmly invited to invest the same way.
The deeper layer

The "perfect bankers/merchants" are those who invested wisely — who put their life's capital into the one imperishable thing. And notice what accrues to them: they are called "beautiful, wise, handsome." Real inner wealth shows; the person whose deepest investment is sound carries a genuine loveliness that no amount of borrowed finery imitates. The shabad ends as a direct, warm invitation — "buy the Name" — as if a friend who found a sure thing were pulling your sleeve toward it. There is nothing gloomy about this devotion; it is offered like good news, like a tip on the one deal that never goes bad.

A Question to Sit With

What's the difference between looking impressive on the outside and having something genuinely valuable inside?
