In plain words

Those who keep the One in mind are dyed a deep, glowing crimson with love.

Their loving devotion becomes beautiful, and remembering the One, they receive the highest honor.

Love shows on a person like a color that will not wash out.
The deeper layer

Love is what gives a person honor.

gur rang chaloolai raatee — they are dyed the deep crimson of the Guru's love. Chalool is the deep red of the poppy flower, the strongest color a dyer could make. Think of a white T-shirt dipped in red dye that never washes out. That is how deeply love colors a person who keeps the One in mind.

har har bhagat banee at sobhaa — their devotion becomes truly beautiful. They receive ootam paatee, the highest honor. This honor comes from love, not from rank or riches. This raag keeps saying the same thing: love, not worldly rank, is what makes someone great.

A Question to Sit With

When someone loves something, how can you tell just by looking at them?
