In plain words

From the day I met those who live in the light, every single day has felt blessed.

Singing Your praises fills me with a deep, steady joy, and in it I found the One who shapes all things.

The right company can make ordinary days start to feel bright.
The deeper layer

Meeting people who live close to the One makes every day feel bright.

jab tay darsan bhaytay saaDhoo — ever since I met the holy. Darsan means seeing someone and truly being with them. After that, bhalay dinas o-ay aa-ay — the days themselves turned good. It is like finding a real friend in your first week at a new school. Every day after that feels different.

purakh biDhaataa is the One who shapes all things. Here that One is not found by searching far away. The One is found in the everyday joy of keertan, singing praises together with the Guru's people.

A Question to Sit With

Is there a person or group that makes your days feel better just by being around them?
