Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The One keeps safe all those who walk toward truth.
Ill-will sent toward such hearts finds no ground to stand on — in the end it simply comes undone on its own.
The One keeps the saints safe, and ill-will cannot last.
This is the Rahao, the "pause" line at the center of the shabad. Har har leenay sant ubaar — the One lifts up and protects the saints. Ubaar means to lift out of danger, like pulling someone out of deep water.
The next line is a hard one. It says whoever wishes harm on the One's people will be brought down. Its meaning is that ill-will has no lasting power. It works against the way things really are. So it comes apart on its own, like a sandcastle when the tide comes in. No one needs to be punished for that to happen.
If someone is being unkind to you, that is never something you have to accept. Telling a grown-up you trust is always the right thing to do.
Why do you think unkindness so often ends up hurting the one who sends it?
