In plain words

After wandering and searching for a long time, I met a wise, good-hearted teacher who helped me understand.

All the other ways I had tried didn't help — so now I keep the One in my heart.

Sometimes you have to try many paths before the right one becomes clear.
The deeper layer

Sometimes the search ends only when we stop trying everything else.

Firat firat bhaytay jan saaDhoo — after wandering and wandering, I met a holy person. Poorai gur samjhaa-i-aa — the perfect teacher helped me understand. Poorai gur means the complete, perfect teacher.

Then comes an honest admission: aan sagal biDh kaam na aavai — no other way worked. That is not giving up. It is more like clearing a table. Once the clutter is gone, there is room to set down something new. Here, that clearing makes room for the Name.

A Question to Sit With

Have you ever struggled with something for a long time before someone finally helped it click?
