Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Wherever I look, You are right there present — never far away at all.

You fill everything, everywhere; so, my heart, keep turning toward the One.

The One you long for is not somewhere far away, but present wherever you look.
The deeper layer

The One is everywhere, so the One is never far.

Jah jah paykha-o tah hajoor — wherever I look, You are there. Hajoor means present, right here. Door katahu na jaa-ee — never far away. Rav rahi-aa sarbatar — the One fills everything, everywhere.

Think of the air around you. You cannot see it, yet it is in every room and every breath. Because the One is that close, the mind can keep turning toward the One, sadaa Dhi-aa-ee, always.

A Question to Sit With

Where in your everyday life could you notice something wonderful you usually walk right past?
