In plain words

To lose sight of the great Giver, the very source of life — what a lot a heart misses when that happens.

But the heart that falls in love with the One's gentle presence finds itself beside a whole cool pool of sweet, living water.

To remember the Giver is to stand beside an endless pool of sweet water.
The deeper layer

Forgetting the Giver means missing so much, but a heart in love finds a pool of sweetness.

Jis ka-o bisrai paraanpat daataa so-ee ganhu abhaagaa — whoever forgets the Giver, the Lord of life, count that one as unlucky. This gently names a loss. It is not a judgment. It is about how much gets missed, like walking past a rainbow while staring at the ground.

On the other side is ami-a sarovar, a pool of amrit, sweet, living nectar. The heart in love with the One finds it. The weight falls on the gift.

A Question to Sit With

What is something so good it feels like water you could drink forever?
