In plain words

Being in the Sangat is the cleanest bath there is; it washes you in a way water never could.

When you sing about the One, something in you begins to shine.

Praise the True One and trust the True Teacher. That holds all the good of giving, kindness, and care.

Loving the One and staying close is worth more than any grand ceremony; it's the truest meeting place of all.

The One keeps giving and giving, and the gifts only grow. In the Sangat, hearts are drawn back together, and that is grace at work.

The cleanest bath of all is time in the Sangat.
The deeper layer

Being in the Sangat is the cleanest bath there is.

Sangat meet milaap pooraa naavno — friend, meeting in the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One — is the perfect cleansing bath. It washes the inside, the way a good talk with a friend leaves you feeling fresh.

Baynee is the Triveni, the holy place where three rivers meet. The truest meeting place is loving nearness to the One: pir sang bhaavai sahj naavai — the one who loves being with the Beloved bathes in calm.

Nadar, grace, is what draws hearts together.

A Question to Sit With

Who are the people who leave you feeling clearer and kinder after you're with them?
