In plain words

Whatever my Friend does, I accept it. Everything my Friend does turns out, in the end, to be for my good.

Whatever the Friend does, I trust it's for my good — that kind of trust is a deep peace.
The deeper layer

This one is about trusting a Friend so much that you can say yes to whatever they do.

Meet karai so-ee ham maanaa — "whatever my Friend does, I accept." Meet means Friend, and here the Friend is the One. Maanaa is a deep, inside kind of acceptance. It is the same mannai of Japji, which means accepting and living from it.

Then comes meet kay kartab kusal samaanaa — "my Friend's doings are for my good." Kusal means well-being.

Think of riding in a car with a parent you trust. You don't need to check every turn on the map. You know they are taking you home.

This is not giving up or going limp. It is a deep peace. You trust the Friend so fully that you don't have to approve every step to feel safe.

A Question to Sit With

Is there anyone you trust so much that you'd feel okay even not understanding their reasons?
