In plain words

There is a circle of people who are trying, together, to live good and true. Find your way into that company and let it hold you. And when you are there, do not hold anything back — set your whole self down, mind and heart, the way you would lay a gift on the table.

Step into the company of the good, and set your whole self down there without holding back.
The deeper layer

Find good company, and give your whole self to the One there.

The shabad opens with saadhsang, the company of people seeking truth together. Saadhsang taa kee sarnee parahu — in good company, take shelter with the One. Man tan apnaa aagai dharahu — place your mind and body before the One, as an offering.

For Guru Arjan, this community is not just a crowd. It is a shelter you walk into, like coming in from the rain to a warm kitchen. And walking in is an act of trust. You stop guarding yourself and lay your whole self open.

A Question to Sit With

Where is the circle of people who make you want to be your best self?
