ਤੂੰ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਤੂੰਹੈ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥
tooN samrath tooNhai mayraa su-aamee.
You are All-powerful, You are my Lord and Master.
ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥੧॥
sabh kichh tum tay tooN antarjaamee. ||1||
Everything comes from You; You are the Inner-knower, the Searcher of hearts. ||1||

You are the one with all the strength; you are the one I belong to. Everything there is flows out from you, and you know what is happening inside every heart.
The strongest one of all is also the one who is yours and knows you completely.
Too samrath — You are all-capable — toohai mayraa su-aamee, You are my own. Sabh kichh tum tay, everything comes from You, and too antarjaamee, You know all within. The tone is settled and personal: not fear of a mighty ruler but the ease of a child who knows the strong one is theirs and understands them completely.
