Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Why talk about anyone else? The One alone is the Giver. When grace comes, you are joined to the Word. Meeting my Beloved, I sing the praises of the True One, and becoming true myself, I melt into the True One.
There is only one Giver -- and becoming true, you melt into the True One.
Single-pointed again: there is no other Giver. Union with the Shabad is by grace. The closing enacts Sach: becoming true, absorbed in the True -- you merge with what you become like.
A Question to Sit With
What helps you sing or feel grateful, rather than just want more?
