Their minds and bodies are embellished and adorned, attuned to the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||Pause||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Their singing is blessed when it pleases the true teacher. Then mind and body are made beautiful, tuned to the Name.
Singing is blessed when it flows from alignment, not effort -- and it makes the heart beautiful.
The Rahao: the measure of song is whether it pleases the Guru -- whether it flows from alignment, not whether it is loud or long. The fruit is mind and body adorned, but only when attuned to the Name.
