Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

For the sake of those devoted to the One, the three worlds are held in place. And whoever truly comes to know their own soul — they touch the very heart of what is real.

Know your own soul, and you touch the very heart of what is real.
The deeper layer

This one says that knowing your own soul lets you touch what is truly real.

Sant hayt parabh taribhavan Dhaaray — "for the sake of the saints, God holds up the three worlds." A sant is someone devoted to the One. The loving few give the world its worth.

Think of a school. It is the kind teachers and caring kids who make it a good place to be.

Aatam cheenai so tat beechaaray — "whoever knows their own soul thinks on the essence of what is real." Aatam is the soul, the true self. Tat is the heart of reality.

Knowing yourself and knowing what is real turn out to be one and the same.

A Question to Sit With

What is one true thing you’ve learned about your own self?
