Return to your own home, and find the palace of love; meet the Guru, and meet the Lord. ||5||

In plain words

O my beloved camel-mind, day and night let your love rest on the One. Come home to your own true self, and there you'll find a palace of love waiting; meet the teacher, and the teacher joins you to the One.

Come home to your own true self and you'll find a palace of love already waiting there.
The deeper layer

Din rain har liv laa-ay — day and night, attune love to the One: steadiness across all hours. Ghar jaa-ay paavahi rang mahlee — "go home and you'll find the rang mahal," the palace of love/joy — ghar (home) is the true self, and the palace is within it, not somewhere far. Gur maylay har maylaa-ay — the teacher does the joining. The wandering camel, told to come home, discovers home was never a distant place but its own deepest self, already furnished with joy.

A Question to Sit With

What would "coming home to yourself" look like for you — where and when do you feel most truly at home?
