Conquer Separation and Your Very Arrival Is a Blessing

ਜੋ ਇਸੁ ਮਾਰੇ ਤਿਸ ਕਾ ਆਇਆ ਗਨੀ ॥
jo is maaray tis kaa aa-i-aa ganee.
One who kills this - his coming is auspicious.
ਜੋ ਇਸੁ ਮਾਰੇ ਸੁ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਧਨੀ ॥
jo is maaray so nihchal Dhanee.
One who kills this is steady and wealthy.
ਜੋ ਇਸੁ ਮਾਰੇ ਸੋ ਵਡਭਾਗਾ ॥

One who kills this is very fortunate.
ਜੋ ਇਸੁ ਮਾਰੇ ਸੁ ਅਨਦਿਨੁ ਜਾਗਾ ॥੪॥
jo is maaray so an-din jaagaa. ||4||
One who kills this remains awake and aware, night and day. ||4||

In plain words

For whoever overcomes it, their very arrival into the world becomes a blessing. Whoever overcomes it grows steady and truly rich.

Whoever overcomes it is deeply fortunate. Whoever overcomes it is awake and aware, all through the day and night.

Conquer the sense of separation and even your arrival in the world becomes a blessing -- awake and aware, day and night.
The deeper layer

This one says that healing the split makes your whole life a blessing.

The gifts keep coming.

Jo is maaray tis kaa aa-i-aa ganee — "whoever overcomes this, their coming counts." Their coming means their birth, their life. A life that heals the split is a life that mattered.

Nihchal Dhanee means steady and rich. Vadbhaagaa means very lucky.

An-din jaagaa means "awake day and night." This is the wakefulness of someone no longer sleepwalking through a divided life.

Think of a gift you finally open and use every day, instead of leaving it in the box. Healing the split makes life itself feel like a gift well used.

A Question to Sit With

What would it mean for your life to feel truly worthwhile -- not to others, but to you?
