sukh sampai baho bhog ras naanak saaDh ravaal. ||1||
The dust of the feet of the Holy is peace, wealth, great enjoyment and pleasure for Nanak. ||1||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Hear my prayer, kind One — gentle with the humble, heart of all the world.

For Nanak, peace, riches and delight are found in the simplest, most humble nearness to holy people — the dust at their feet. Where love and humility meet, that is where the treasure is.

Peace and riches live in humble nearness to holy people — where love and humility meet, the treasure is.
The deeper layer

Peace and riches are found in humble nearness to holy people.

Bin-o sunhu tum paarbarahm — hear my prayer, O One deen da-i-aal, merciful to the humble. The lovely reversal: sukh sampai baho bhog ras (peace, wealth, great pleasures) are all found in saadh raval — the dust of the feet of the holy, an image of deep humility. The dust is tender: nearness and humility are the true riches. The "Babba" Pauri follows, on what makes a person good.

A Question to Sit With

Why do you think humility — being small and gentle — is described here as a kind of treasure?
