ਗਉੜੀ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੀ ॥
ga-orhee kabeer jee.
Gauree, Kabir Jee:
ਜਿਹ ਮਰਨੈ ਸਭੁ ਜਗਤੁ ਤਰਾਸਿਆ ॥
jih marnai sabh jagat taraasi-aa.
That death which terrifies the entire world
ਸੋ ਮਰਨਾ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸਿਆ ॥੧॥
so marnaa gur sabad pargaasi-aa. ||1||

The very ending that frightens the whole world — the Guru's word showed me what it truly is. And once I saw it clearly, the fear simply let go of me.
When you truly understand the ending, the fear of it quietly lets go.
Kabir's great "conquering the fear of death" shabad. So marnaa gur sabad pargaasiaa — the Guru's word illumines what death really is, and understanding dissolves the terror. We keep this squarely in the domain of losing fear, not dwelling on death itself: what changes is not death but the fear.
