Verse 3 of 6

The One Fills Everywhere and Is Always Beside You

ਸੋ ਸਾਹਿਬੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥
so saahib rahi-aa bharpoor.
That Lord and Master is pervading everywhere.
ਸਦਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਨਾਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਦੂਰਿ ॥੨॥
sadaa sang naahee har door. ||2||
The Lord is always with us; He is never far away. ||2||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

That One fills every place, completely.

Always right beside you — never, ever far away.

The One fills everywhere and is always beside you — never far.
The deeper layer

The One fills every place and is always right beside you.

So saahib rahi-aa bharpoor — that Master fills everything. Bharpoor means full to the brim, everywhere. Sadaa sang naahee har door — always with you, never far away.

That is why there is no need to wander. What you are looking for is already closer than close. It is like the WiFi at home. You cannot see it, but it fills every room, and you are always inside it.

A Question to Sit With

When has something you were searching for turned out to be right beside you the whole time?
