Says Kabir: my heart has fallen for this lovable charmer completely.
And the enchantment lifted the moment I truly recognized who the charmer was.
Recognizing the Beloved is what lifts the spell of confusion.
The close resolves it beautifully. Once Kabir recognizes the Beloved-thief — sees clearly who has been enchanting him all along — the spell of confusion (thag-uree) lifts. Recognizing the One is what frees you: not by escaping the enchantment, but by loving it knowingly.
