In plain words

Now the Beloved, my King, has become my helper and my support.

The whole weary cycle of coming and going has eased, and I've found the highest peace.

When the One becomes your support, the restless cycle finds peace.
The deeper layer

This shabad opens on its Rahao — a burst of gratitude. Kabir celebrates that the One has become his steady support, and that the exhausting cycle of birth-and-death, coming-and-going, has resolved into deep peace (param gat, the highest state). Everything that follows is thankful witness to this.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like when you finally have someone steady you can lean on?
