ਸਾਧੂ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਦੀਓ ਰਲਾਇ ॥
saaDhoo sangat dee-o ralaa-ay.
He has united me with the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਪੰਚ ਦੂਤ ਤੇ ਲੀਓ ਛਡਾਇ ॥
panch doot tay lee-o chhadaa-ay.
He has rescued me from the five demons.
ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਉ ਜਪੁ ਰਸਨਾ ॥
amrit naam japa-o jap rasnaa.
I chant with my tongue and meditate on the Ambrosial Naam, the Name of the Lord.

He has made me his own slave. ||1||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The One folded me into good company — the fellowship of kind, awake hearts.
There I was freed from the five inner troublemakers that used to run me.
Now my tongue delights in the sweet Name, chanting it with joy,
and the Beloved has made me its own beyond all price.
Good company frees you, and the Name makes your whole being priceless.
Kabir names the gifts: the saadh sangat (the company of good, awake people), freedom from the "five thieves" (the inner pulls like anger and greed — old troublemakers, not monsters), and the sweetness of the Name on his tongue. And the tenderest gift: being claimed as the One's own, amol — priceless.
