ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਬਨਿ ਆਈ ॥ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਲਿਖਤੁ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਧੁਰਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
sant janaa si-o pareet ban aa-ee. jin ka-o likhat likhi-aa Dhur paa-ee.
Those who are blessed with such pre-ordained destiny are in love with the humble Saints.
ਤੇ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮਿ ਸਮਾਈ ॥੪॥੨॥੪੦॥
tay jan naanak naam samaa-ee. ||4||2||40||
Those humble beings, O Nanak, are absorbed in the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||4||2||40||

Those blessed with the right destiny fall in love with the humble holy ones. And those humble ones melt into the Name.
Loving the humble holy ones is itself a gift -- and they are lost in the Name.
The close: love for the Saints is itself a sign of destiny and grace, and the Saints themselves are absorbed in the Name. The shabad's whole movement is from the unspeakable speech down to the dust of the feet -- the highest reached through the lowliest love.
