Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
What is a human being? What power do we really have? All the noise of the world is unreal. The One acts and moves everyone to act. It knows every heart.
We have little power of our own -- the One acts through all, and knows every heart.
The humbling of human agency (cf. no one has power): the tumult of Maya is false, and the One is the sole doer and the Inner-Knower (cf. the heart-knower). Recognizing we have no independent power is freeing, not diminishing.
A Question to Sit With
Is there relief in admitting how little is actually in your control?
