Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
When the One becomes merciful, the servant's work turns out perfect. It cut my chains and made me its own. So remember, remember, remember it -- the treasure of all that is good.
When mercy comes, the chains are cut and your work turns out right -- so keep remembering.
Mercy makes the servant's work perfect (cf. the perfect Guru), cuts the bonds, and claims the soul as its own. The triple remember (simran) is the response to being claimed. Grace does the work; remembrance is the gratitude.
A Question to Sit With
Have you noticed things "work out" more when you stop forcing and trust?
