Brothers and sisters gather and share it freely, eating and spending together — and somehow it never runs low. The more it's shared, the more it grows.
This is a wealth that grows bigger the more you share it.
Khaaveh kharcheh ral mil bhaa-ee — the brothers and sisters gather, and eat and spend together. Yet tot na aavai vadh-do jaa-ee — it never runs short, and it keeps growing.
Ordinary money shrinks when you share it. The wealth of the Name grows. Think of one candle lighting other candles. The first flame loses nothing, and the whole room gets brighter. This is how sangat, good company, works, and it is how love works. Joy, kindness, and truth multiply when they are shared.
This gently turns around the fear of "not enough" that makes people hoard.
What's something good that actually increases when you give it away — like kindness, or a great idea?
