Through the Love of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, the devotees become His Beloveds.
ਜਸੁ ਕਰਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਸਦਾ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥
jas kartay sant sadaa nihaal.
Singing the Praises of the Creator, the Saints are forever in bliss.
ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਜਨ ਰਹੇ ਅਘਾਇ ॥

Through the Love of the Naam, the Lord's humble servants remain satisfied.

Nanak falls at the feet of those humble servants of the Lord. ||4||3||5||
Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
Loving the Name, people become dear friends of the One, and singing its praise the saints live in steady joy.
Held in that love, hearts grow full and content — and I gladly bow at the feet of such people.
Loving the Name fills the heart so full that its restless hunger finally settles.
Naam rang bhagat bha-ay laal — through love of the Name, devotees become laal, beloved. The fruit is aghaa-ay — a fullness, a satisfaction that stops the endless hunger for more. Nanak's bowing at their feet is honor flowing toward those living the love, whoever they are.
