Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
I have looked in every way, and there is no other like the One.
On every land and island it fills all; it is in all worlds.
The One is both incomparable and everywhere — nothing is like it, and nowhere is without it.
The Pause line pairs uniqueness ("no other like the Lord") with omnipresence ("in all worlds"). The One is both incomparable and everywhere — there is nothing like it, and there is nowhere it isn't. This is the raag's non-dual vision: not one god among many, but the single reality pervading all, unrivaled and all-present at once.
A Question to Sit With
What is both utterly unique and yet present in everything, all at once?
