ਅਗਮ ਅਗੰਮਾ ਕਵਨ ਮਹਿੰਮਾ ਮਨੁ ਜੀਵੈ ਸੁਨਿ ਸੋਊ ॥

People of every stage and every class are freed by serving You.
Freedom is open to every age and every class — serving the One levels all human divisions.
The verse makes the raag's equality explicit: "people in the four stages of life, and in the four social classes are liberated" — freedom is open to every age and every caste. Serving the One levels all human divisions; the path is available regardless of where you stand in society. And even "hearing of Him" is enough to live by — the news of the One nourishes.
