Those humble beings, who have entered the Sanctuary of the Lord God, Har, Har, are blessed with glory in the Court of the Lord, Har, Har.

Blessed, blessed and congratulations, says God to His humble servant. O servant Nanak, He embraces him, and blends him with Himself. ||4||4||

In plain words

The ones who step into the One's shelter are honored in the One's own court.

Blessed, blessed, congratulations — so says the One to the servant. Nanak says: the One embraces him and blends him into itself.

The one who takes shelter isn't judged at the door but embraced and welcomed like family.
The deeper layer

Whoever comes to the One for shelter is welcomed with joy, like family coming home.

The people who enter the One's sarnaa, shelter, are honored in the One's dargeh, court. They are not just let in. They are cheered.

Dhan Dhan saabaas — "Blessed, blessed, well done!" That is what the One says to the humble servant. Think of a parent at the end of a school race, calling out "Well done!" before the child has even caught their breath.

Then comes the last picture: mayl la-ay gal laa-ee, the One joins the servant close and hugs him. Nobody is questioned at the door. The servant is held and gathered in. The verse before this showed a life wasted without the Name. This one shows the other road in all its warmth. You are wanted, welcomed, and brought home.

A Question to Sit With

What would it be like to imagine yourself not examined but delighted in, and gathered in?
