Why do you sit there spinning worried plans, mind, when the One who loves you is already taking care of you?
Out of bare rock and stone the One made living creatures — and set their food in front of them before they even asked.
This line gently asks: why worry so much, when you are already being taken care of?
Kaahay ray man chitvahi udam — why, O mind, do you keep planning and worrying? Jaa aahar har jee-o pari-aa — the dear One is already looking after you. The question is soft, not a scolding.
Then comes the proof, and it is surprising. Sail pathar meh jant upaa-ay — inside rocks and stones the One made living creatures, and set their food in front of them. People long ago believed tiny insects were born sealed inside stone. Even they, the verse says, find their food waiting.
Think of a little seed growing in a crack in the sidewalk. Nobody planted it or watered it, yet it gets what it needs. If the One feeds the life hidden inside a rock, your worry is not what keeps you going. Something bigger is holding you.
What worry are you carrying as if everything depended on your planning it perfectly?
