God forgives and blends with Himself those who take to His Sanctuary; He does not delay for an instant.

He is the source of bliss, the Greatest Lord; through the True Guru, we are united in His Union. ||5||

In plain words

The One forgives those who come to its shelter and blends them into itself, without a moment's delay.

It is the source of bliss, the Greatest; through the true teaching, we are joined in union.

There's no waiting period for grace — take shelter, and the forgiveness and embrace are immediate.
The deeper layer

The verse is pure reassurance about the speed and completeness of grace: those who take sanctuary are forgiven and "blended with Himself" — "He does not delay for an instant." There is no probation, no waiting period; the forgiveness and the union are immediate. This answers a deep fear — that we must first become good enough to be received. No: come to the shelter, and the embrace is instant. The One is "the source of bliss," and union is offered without delay to whoever turns.

A Question to Sit With

What if you didn't have to become 'good enough' first — what if turning toward the good was itself enough to be received?
