Among warriors, You are the Warrior. Among those who enjoy, You are the Enjoyer.
Among householders, You are the Great Householder. Among yogis, You are the Yogi.
The litany deliberately pairs opposites — warrior and enjoyer, householder and yogi — and says the One is supremely all of them. This is a quiet theological point: the One is not confined to one mode of life. The householder deep in family and the yogi deep in renunciation both find their summit in the same One. This dissolves the old rivalry between the worldly and the spiritual paths (a theme the raag keeps returning to): the One is the perfection of both, so neither camp can claim it.
Do you tend to think the 'spiritual' life and the 'ordinary' life are opposed? What if their summit is the same?
