In plain words

Crying 'Wonder!', the night of life passes in peace.

Crying 'Wonder!', I am in endless bliss, O my mother! Crying 'Wonder!', I have fallen in love with the One. By good actions I cry it, and stir others to cry it too. Crying 'Wonder!', honor comes. Nanak says: 'Wonder!' is the Will of the True One.

Wonder is contagious — a genuinely astonished heart lights up astonishment in others.
The deeper layer

The litany peaks in personal joy — "I am in eternal bliss, O my mother!" — the wonder overflowing into a cry to a parent, the most intimate audience for joy. And it becomes contagious: "I chant it, and inspire others to chant it as well." Wonder shared multiplies; a genuinely astonished heart lights others' astonishment. Praise is not private; it spreads.

A Question to Sit With

Whose wonder or joy has been contagious for you? Whose could you light up?
