Weave Remembrance Into Breathing for an Unbeatable Ally

The Lord does not forget one upon whom He has bestowed His Grace.

He Himself is the Creator, and He Himself destroys.

By His creative power, He assumes numerous forms in an instant.

One whom the Lord attaches to the Truth is redeemed.

His Court is eternal and imperishable; I humbly bow to Him. ||4||

In plain words

With every breath and every bite, say the Name of the One who cherishes you.

The One does not forget the one it has graced. It creates, and it dissolves; the Knower knows all, weighs all. By its power it takes countless forms in an instant. Whom it fastens to truth is saved; whoever has the One on their side is never defeated. Its court is eternal; I bow low.

Weave remembrance into breathing and eating, and you have an ally on your side that can't be finally defeated.
The deeper layer

The fourth Pauree ties remembrance to the most basic acts — "with every breath and morsel of food" — devotion woven into eating and breathing, the involuntary rhythms of staying alive. And it offers a warrior's confidence: "one who has God on his side is never conquered." Not that hardship never comes, but that a life allied with the One cannot be finally defeated. Remembrance in every breath, and an undefeatable ally.

A Question to Sit With

What would it mean to remember the good as often as you breathe or eat?
