In plain words

I am blind, silent, crippled inside, with no real understanding; Preserver of all, keep me.

The Creator, cause of all causes, is all-powerful; Nanak says, how helpless are its creatures!

Helplessness acknowledged is the beginning of being held — we can't preserve ourselves, so we hand ourselves to the One who can.
The deeper layer

The close is a confession of utter dependence, its harsh self-descriptions ("blind, mute, crippled") best read as the honest helplessness of a creature before its Creator — not literal self-contempt but the recognition that we cannot preserve ourselves. "How helpless are His beings!" is not despair but the doorway to trust: precisely because we cannot save ourselves, we hand ourselves to the all-powerful Preserver. Helplessness acknowledged is the beginning of being held.

A Question to Sit With

Is there relief, not just fear, in admitting you can't hold everything up by yourself?
