Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Husband and wife rejoice together, celebrating the One's victory.

Nanak says: I am a sacrifice to the servant of the One, who sets everyone free.

The joy of rescue isn't solitary — it's celebrated together, in the home, and it's a joy meant to be shared.
The deeper layer

The close bursts into shared celebration — "husband and wife join together in rejoicing." The joy of rescue is not solitary; it is celebrated in relationship, in the home. And gratitude widens to "the humble servant... who emancipates everyone": the rescue is for all, and the joy is meant to be shared.

A Question to Sit With

When something wonderful happens, who do you most want to celebrate it with?
