Seeing the One — beyond price, beyond limit, the great Giver — I hold it close in my mind.
A single line holding the raag's two poles again: the One is "inestimable, infinite" (beyond all measure) and something the seeker "cherishes in my mind" (held intimately close). Beyond price, yet held in the heart. Guru Arjan keeps refusing to let the vastness push the One away or the nearness shrink it. It is the "Great Giver" — and what it gives, above all, is itself, held now in the mind of the one who beheld it. The measureless is cherished; the infinite is intimate. This is the steady miracle these raags keep pointing to.
