In plain words

They dwell on the One's feet; they worship it with every breath.

They never forget the imperishable One's Name, Nanak; it fulfills their hopes.

The saints worship with every single breath — devotion woven into breathing itself, not squeezed into occasional moments. And a life breathed toward the One is already receiving what it most deeply hoped for.
The deeper layer

A verse of steady, breath-by-breath devotion: the saints "worship with each and every breath," never forgetting. This is the continuous remembrance the whole tradition commends — not devotion as an occasional event but as the constant background of the breath itself. And the quiet promise: the One "fulfills their hopes." The ones who hold the One with every breath find their deepest hopes met — not because devotion is a bargaining chip, but because a life breathed toward the One is already receiving what it most hoped for.

A Question to Sit With

What would it mean for something good to be as constant in you as your own breathing?
